7 Characteristics of a Godly Woman
By Joyce Meyer
A godly woman desires to receive a vision from God that will give her a glimpse into her future.
A godly woman has courage to be herself in all situations. She never compromises her godly values and teachings to fit in with her surroundings. She is faithful to God at all times.
A godly woman’s strength is demonstrated during times of difficult tests. When things in life seem heavy to bear or people don’t understand how she can maintain joy and peace in God, she confesses that the “joy of the Lord is my strength”.
A godly woman is bold in her approach to fulfilling the will of God in her life. She is not offensive as to hurt others feelings but she is not afraid to do or go where God commands her to go. Her boldness rises when others may have a draw back spirit or are afraid of what others may think of them.
A godly woman is convinced that God cannot fail. She seeks Him and goes to Him in every situation in her life because she believes without a doubt that God is on her side, she has victory in every area of her life and that the schemes of the devil will not prosper.
A Godly woman trusts in God’s word. Through prayer she is sure that God is always involved in her affairs.
A Godly woman must understand and know her purpose from God. She has spent time in prayer and studying God’s word to know what God has deemed for her corporately and individually.

Do you have a vision? Do you have a goal? I’m watching you shrugging your shoulders, telling me blankly that you just don’t know. Do you get emotional? Is there something you’re passionate about? I can tell that you’re still searching, still trying to work it all out. But if I were to ask you, where will you be in ten years’ time? And if I were to question - will you be happy with the way you’ve been living your life? Will you be all right? Because when you’re looking back to now, after many years have passed you by - I wonder, will there be something that you say you wished you’d done better this day or this night? So tell me, what do you fight for? For what do you stand? How do you go about your battles? Do you have a master plan? What are your sins, and what are your rights? We’ve all got something we believe in, so what is yours, tonight? So again I will ask you, where are you going to be in ten years time? Will you be happy with the way you’ve been choosing, changing and living your life? Will you be all right? We’re not talking about a fake world, we’re talking about your life. Jesus could have made Himself compulsory to follow, the day He came to save us all; but He loved you enough to sacrifice everything - and still give you the responsibility to make that call. So ask yourself today, challenge your spirit, mind and heart. Who do you stand for, who do you believe, what sets you apart? — Jacinta / hope-movement.tumblr.com (via hope-movement)

Prayer to let go -
O Lord I feel the time is right
To simply let you know
I’ve come to the conclusion
That I’m ready to let go
I thought that I’d found love, Lord
You know I’ve prayed so long
but once again Lord God
I find that I am wrong
Great is the man that I adore
And boy does he love You
The only problem Lord,
is that he doesn’t love me too
Greatly do I admire him
his do I long to be
but this just simply hurts
because he doesn’t long for me
I’ve spent enough time hoping
in what really wasn’t true
So now I have but one desire
Just one thing left to do
Lord I release this love of mine
As hard as it may be
I lift his life into your hands,
From my heart he is free
I pray that he finds joy
O Lord, no matter where he goes
That peace will be with him
and in You that he grows
I give you my desires
all my hopes and all my dreams
though all of this surrendering
is harder than it seems
Dear God give me the courage
To travel on my own
Jesus take my hand
So that I know I’m not alone
Flood my life with purpose
In all I say and all I do
So I won’t live for me
but Lord just live for you
Even if this grain of hope
be like a mustard seed
Oh may it grow so I recall
that You are all I need.
